Energy Midrange is a deck I feel is pretty well positioned at the moment in this heavy Growth meta and should become even better if the proposed buffs to Spiky goes through.

This deck is based on Nrp's Ranged build (http://www.scrolldier.com/deck/1217) which I'm tuning to speed up a bit to combat the current aggressive meta.

2015-02-14:

-1 Storm Runner (down to 2)

-1 Tempest Reaver (down to 2)

+2 Metal Wonder

All kinds of spell abuse decks running around in Ranked at the moment (DO, GD, Arbalestier LGO etc) so trying out Metal Wonders. Storm Runner hasn't been key in almost any matchup so far and also doesn't hit idols. Same with Tempest Reaver, he is a bit clunky with all the utility plays the deck has to make and is really only good in the Growth matchup which seems less common lately.

Piercing Projectile has been working very well so far!

2015-02-07:

-2 Violent Dispersal (down to 1)

-1 Ironclad Reaver (down to 2)

+1 Spark (up to 3)

+2 Piercing Projectile

Trying to lower the curve of the deck a bit. I feel that between Spark + Burn, Machinated and Oculus plays with Overdrive/Bombard, big creatures shouldn't be much of a problem so I'm lowering the curve by adding the 3rd Spark (for Vaettr / Brave especially).

I am also Piercing Projectile since it is so fantastic with Machinated - any attacking Ranged unit threathens to clear a row even vs Gallant Defender or WIngs Shield. It is also amazing with Dust Runner and very respectable with Tempest Reaver (which is a synergy I'm interested to see how it works out).

Cutting a Reaver since he isn't Ranged and he is on the top of the curve. He is pretty great in the deck anyways but definitely not essential. I might cut him and the last Dispersal later if I feel the need to go even cheaper.
